There are surely lots of romantic ways to propose. But if you are a guy and can’t accept a “no” for an answer from the girl of your dreams, the best time to do it is with a full stomach or just before dinner. Here’s a sure ball set of tips on how to stage a romantic proposal dinner.
1. Think of the perfect spot to stage the proposal at. Of course, take into consideration your significant other’s interests and tastes. For example, if she’s a movie buff, holding it in a theater would surely be a hit. I know of one who created a special video of his proposal lines then it was shown right before a movie they’re about a to watch.
2. Plan her most favorite food for the engagement meal. This is actually a common sense not unless you want to spoil her mood and the proposal consequently.
3. Have someone serve the dinner, that is, if you aren’t a great cook. Cooking and serving it by yourself makes the dinner even more special.
4. Set the mood with proper lighting. Line up her pathway or your dinner space with tea light candles and rose petals.
5. Music sets the mood to the highest romantic level.
6. Plan where to keep the ring prior the proposal. It may be served on a silver tray at the end of the meal or for some, they make arrangements with the waiter to submerge the ring on the ice cream. Just be cautious and alert enough though to pop out the question as soon as she finds it or about to put a serving to her mouth.
7. Setup the Hidden Camera very carefully and discreetly. You wouldn’t want to send off hints about your impending proposal or leave her confused and wondering what the video documentation is all about.
8. Rehearse what you will say in your proposal. Or better yet, just be yourself so you don’t stutter and say the darnest thing that could spoil the proposal.
