Our grocery shopping is usually scheduled every two weeks. The husband do not bring packed lunch to work anymore and since our daily meals are being taken cared of by my in-laws (my SIL’s family and ours contribute to the daily market funds), our grocery cart is usually seen with these contents:
1. 1 can of Enfagrow-A milk (1 month supply)
2. 1 pack of ProKids diapers (36 pcs)
3. Yakult
4. Yogurt
5. Fruitini Vegetable and Fruit Drinks
6. Champorado and Arroz Caldo ready to cook powder
7. Variety of Oatmeal flavors (in sachets)
8. Hotcake Mix
9. 2 large packs of Fabric Softeners
10. 4 bars (of 4) detergent
11. Various canned goods: tuna, sardines, corned beef, meatloaf
12. Biscuits, breads and cookies
13. Rice Cereals
14. My Anlene Milk
15. Dishwashing liquid
16. Del Monte Pineapple Juice in ready to drink cans
Actually, they’re more of for the little one’s food and daily supplies. We have a certain grocery budget and we try to stick to it no matter what.

Lately, we try to limit the bulk so we can go with our easy-to-maneuver cart around the home appliance and furniture section. It’s a must-visit section as we prepare for our own house that’s being constructed. Last weekend, tv stands were our target. It would have been great to canvass but it’s undeniable that window shopping can be depressing too especially if you know that the prices displayed are simply unaffordable and there’s nothing left for you to do but just drool.
