Since I’m salivating over the Chocolate Mousse that the husband brought me home last night, I just can’t stop thinking about cakes.  I’ve just had too much sweets for the day already so to appease my craving, I’d just feast my eyes with these artistically made themed-cakes.  Here’s a few of my favorites:

Here’s something interesting (and most probably, yummy) that I found in my Google Reader feeds.

It’s a cake!  And this camera makes a great birthday gift for a passionate photographer and a Nikon DSLR fanatic.  I’m impressed how the cake was made into such an interesting, edible replica.  I wonder if the cake artist can make cake replicas of metal buildings also for those skyscraper lovers.

By the way, for Canon fanatics on the other hand, have these for your eyes feasting, too.

Silver and platinum coins, for most, are just used as mere purchasing means at their value. Do you know that you can actually turn a bullion into a sound investment? You may ask, how. Well, keep whatever coins you may have now. If possible, try to collect even that of other currencies. Store them in a safe place and after some time, let’s say about 20 years from now, take them out and you’ll be surprised how much their values can sum up to. They’re hundred or could even be thousand times valued than on the year it’s been minted. But of course, you need not wait than long should you consider investing precious metals. There’s the US Gold Bureau from where you can purchase the rarest silver, gold or other precious metals and coins. For several years now, they’ve been one of the trusted leaders in precious metals investment.

I’m still in the process of completing Little Mansion’s kitchen tools.  Before moving in, we’ve shopped the basic pieces in a nearby mall but got restrained from buying further because the prices weren’t that friendly to my pocket.  We were on a strict budget since we still had other home stuffs to buy as well following the big move.  I suddenly remembered the wholesale housewares I saw in an auction site and decided to just buy the not so basic tools from there.  Take a look at these Barbecue Set, Kitchen and Cutlery Sets.  Would you believe that all these 24 pieces or 1 lot is currently auctioned at just $100 or about $4.16/piece?  Such a steal, really.  Now I’m off to peruse the site further and see if I have other items to bid for.
