Rubik’s Cube Cake

Everyone has seen or experienced playing the Rubik’s cube.  Do you know who’s the great mind behind this popular mind boggling game that has been popular for ages now?  It’s the Hungarian Ernő Rubik.

In honor of his birthday, the author of Stasty baked him the Battenberg cake which is constructed using alternatively coloured Victoria sponge cake rectangular pieces sandwiched together by jam and held together with walls of marzipan.

Very brilliant themed cake idea, indeed!  Perhaps, in the near future, a cake idea featuring the more mundane things like a larimar ring will surface.
