I’m still in the process of completing Little Mansion’s kitchen tools. Before moving in, we’ve shopped the basic pieces in a nearby mall but got restrained from buying further because the prices weren’t that friendly to my pocket. We were on a strict budget since we still had other home stuffs to buy as well following the big move. I suddenly remembered the wholesale housewares I saw in an auction site and decided to just buy the not so basic tools from there. Take a look at these Barbecue Set, Kitchen and Cutlery Sets. Would you believe that all these 24 pieces or 1 lot is currently auctioned at just $100 or about $4.16/piece? Such a steal, really. Now I’m off to peruse the site further and see if I have other items to bid for.

When I was still a kid, I often asked my Mom to buy gold coins for me. No, not those precious commodities that are known to diversify one’s financial portfolio but I’m pertaining to the chocolates neatly wrapped as gold coins in golden wrapper and even a fake inscription. These chocolates taste good but actually more than the taste, the reason why I loved asking Mom to buy me was because I like playing pretend a lot. I used to imagine that I’m a cashier and I used these coins as my money. Now how I wish I can also ask my mom to buy me the real deal this time..the same way she spoils me then.

Cooking is my newly found hobby. But when I received these vintage necklaces I ordered online recently, I am tempted to buy myself the basic jewelry making tools and try to explore the way of creating these lovely accessories. These are sold like hot pancakes online. In fact, a highly favored design, a vintage Eiffel Tower has easily gotten sold out. The seller said that it could take weeks before her stocks get replenished since these necklaces take time to be crafted. Now I really am enticed to try jewelry making and perhaps I can do an Eiffel Tower vintage necklace by myself. And oh, look who’s enamored with the bicycle thingie…

This quote is indeed right and meaningful. Of course, the term gold there does not pertain to gold coins, gold bars or gold bullions figuratively. For me, this means that above all other material things, we must regard and value more the food that we need to eat over our whims and fancies. After all, we need food to live and carry on with our daily lives, right? But of course, it doesn’t say that we should just disregard our hard earned gold. We also need financial power to buy food. It’s actually a cycle but the emphasis is on the intensity of valuation and putting importance on.
